$160 for a full days adventure, includes a fabulous lunch.
Cut into the Blue Mountains are mazes of deep canyons carved into the rock by age-old rivers. You will spend your day following one of these rivers through the canyons with high rock faces on either side and watch as the landscape changes from dry Eucalypt forest to rainforest.
As the river passes through this beautiful landscape you will have fun sliding and climbing over the many boulders and rocks. In some canyons it is necessary to abseil (rappel) down waterfalls or if safe to do so – just jump!
Canyons are a fascinating part of the Blue Mountains and it is a great experience to see these magnificent creations. A typical day for a beginner starts with a half-day abseil adventure where you’ll learn to abseil, usually from Narrow Neck with the spectacular view of Megalong and Jamison Valley, followed by lunch. After lunch you will use your new skills to help you travel down through a beautiful canyon.
